Tent Type: 3-Season
Make and Model: Black Pine Sports - Lone Pine
Sleeping Capacity: 1

I just got back from a 4 days backpacking trip in the High Sierras. We left on Dec. 9th 2004 and came back Sunday.

It was 15 degrees at 8,000ft but my tent stay between 35 to 38 degrees inside. This is caused by the big rain fly. The fly goes almost all the way down to the bottom of the tent and creates a "Dead air space" between the tent and the fly. Condensation was not really a problem either, because the tent is well ventilated. If there would have been a wind and the vent was facing the wind, it might have gotten colder in the tent. But it worked better than expected. It came weighing over 5lbs but I replace the steal tent stakes with almunim and it weight 4.2lbs now.

Awesome solo tent and not bad on the wallet. I got mine for $68 but it was on sale. The regular price was $110.
