Review: This is the second year using the Taurus and thus far the tent is meeting all my backpacking needs. It's very quick to pitch, employing clips rather than pole sleeves which allows for good tent body/fly seperation and minimal condensation buildup in addition to the mesh roof vents on the tent body. Each occupant has their own door/vestibule which allows for convienent exits during those late night "potty breaks". I really appreciate the no-sag full coverage polyester rainfly and the four guy outs for stability during storms. The seams on the rainfly are all factory hot taped with the exception for the door seans that run the length of the zippers. I would highly suggest one to seam seal these seams. During this past weekend's camping trip in southeast Ohio, while getting hit with some torrential rains, I noticed a little leakege dripping from these seams. My advice: seam seal these seams with the provided seam sealer! Other than this, I can't find much to fault concerning this tent. All in all, this is a affordable. dependable tent that will suit all your three season backpacking needs!
