|Review:||not bad. not bad at all. this is fourth pack i've owned, and i think it's the best. it's lightweight, and roomy. i like the roomy. when everyone else is filled up, i can always shove some more food in (carrying food gives me leverage when making decisions :D). i also like how it's not just what goes on the inside. i've been able to attach incredible amounts of extra things to the outside of hte pack (including other people's filled packs). plus, you don't HAVE to use it for 4500 ci. the side pockets, the back mesh, and the top compartment come right off, cutting it down to about 320-3500. you can use it two weeks, or a weekend. but the best thing, i htink, it that EVERYTIHNG is adjustable. there is not one thing on this pack that can't be moved around and manipulated. even the frame can be cut down, for you gramcounters.|
my one complaint is the complete lack of padding. i'm a skinny guy, and this pack... for a while there, it hurt. i'd come off a 2-day with black and blue bruises on my hips. when you buy this pack, buy some extra padding, you'll need it.
all said and done, this pack is well worth the money. this pack has been woth me for 1,000 miles of the appalaichian trail, philmont scout reservation, and the lenhok'sin trail... twice. and it has yet to dissapiont me.
